When our son Pushkar was diagnosed with cancer as a child, our world shifted in an instant. Like so many families, we found ourselves living between hospital rooms, waiting rooms, and long drives to specialists who could give him the best chance. Those trips were exhausting, frightening, and necessary — and along the way, we met parents who wanted the same care for their child but simply couldn’t get there. That reality never left us. Pushkar faced surgery, treatment, and the slow, determined work of rebuilding his strength. We watched him grow from a brave little boy into a young man who refused to let his diagnosis define the limits of his life. He chased his dream of becoming a pilot with the same courage he showed in the hospital — and he made it.
But even as he took to the skies, he carried the memories of the children and families who didn’t have the same access to care. He remembered what it felt like to be scared, to be hopeful, and to rely on the kindness of others.
That is why he created the Limitless Foundation.
As parents, we share our story because we’ve lived both sides of this journey — the fear of not knowing what comes next, and the overwhelming gratitude when someone helps you reach the care your child needs. Limitless is Pushkar’s way of giving that hope forward. It’s his promise that no child’s chance at life should depend on whether their family can afford to travel for treatment.
We are proud of the man he has become, and even more proud of the mission he has chosen: to help every child fighting cancer dream bigger, reach farther, and feel — even for a moment — that the sky is still theirs.
