Meet Patrick
My name is Patrick Riesmeyer, co-owner of Wave Waste, a waste management company in Wilmington NC. Growing up in Charlotte, NC, I always dreamt of attending college at the beach. After graduating from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2024, I knew this is the place I was going to stay for years to come. I am currently working on long term plans for Wave Waste, while also filling my time playing music around town.
My connection to Childhood Cancer is unique. My dad was diagnosed with Leukemia when he was 16, and attended Camp Sunshine in Georgia. Since then, he has been volunteering at Camp Sunshine for close to 30 years. Growing up, Camp Sunshine swag filled every room in our house, which brought some curiosity to see what it was all about. After turning 21, I attended Camp Sunshine for the first time and have not been able to miss a year since.
Volunteering at Camp Sunshine leaves you with an unexplainable feeling.
That feeling is why I decided to join the Limitless Foundation. I am sure that through this foundation, we will create unforgettable experiences for children fighting Childhood Cancer.
